The week of May 9th, my son who is a Police Officer and myself, also a Police Officer, drove almost 1600 miles to attend the #250 course. My son was a Cooper Legacy Scholarship winner, first off the staff at Gunsite are some of the greatest people you would ever want to meet anything they can do to help they are more then willing. We got to meet Mrs. Cooper, her daughter Lindy Cooper Wisdom, Mr. and Mrs. Buz Mills, which was a distinct honor for both of us. The tour of the sconce was a once in a lifetime event. It was wonderful to see Mrs. Cooper light up, we all of the sweaty, dirty men walked into her house, and acted as if they were all 12 year olds in a classroom. Everyone was so bashful and in awe of this very gracious lady! The instruction was top notch, led by the very able Dave Starin, and while the drills were demanding, I saw a young man, progress form the first day, of not know how to load a magazine to day four, of being one to contend with in the shoot off. Again thanks for a great week.
