Father and Son took the 250 Class together in July

I just wanted to take a minute to send you and the fine folks you work with at Gunsite a note of Thanks. My 13 year old Sam and I took our first course, he the youth 250 and I the adult and I amazed at the self confidence he has gained in the week we spent with you all. My wife and I chose to start our family a little later in life so lets just say it’s been awhile since was 13 and I had forgotten what it was like to be that age! Sam really bonded with a couple of his instructors and he certainly didn’t want to disappoint  them so he gave it his all. We drove out from Indiana so I listened to “Dave said this and Chris said do that” for 2500 miles! As for myself, I have read everything Jeff Cooper wrote and feel pretty much they way he did on most subjects. Going to Gunsite, taking a course and visiting the Sconce was certainly a bucket list item for me. I was always impressed with the way he raised his family and the way he referred to his graduates as family members. I believe you all are living up to his standards and traditions and he would be proud. I had an amazing week and the best part came at the end when Jane Anne sent an email that said “ attached are your class photos, welcome to the Gunsite family!” It doesn’t get much better than that! Thanks again.
