The Gunsite family continues to grow as classes are again filling. We appreciate everyone’s patience as we continued with smaller classes (Tutorial Experiences) and modified lesson plans to allow for “social distancing.” Now that things are beginning to return to normal, the classes at Gunsite are filling quickly.
We closed out May with a doubled 250 Pistol Class and a near full PR7 and several private classes. June carries on strong beginning with a 270 Rifle and a near-full 350 Intermediate Pistol. The Nashville 250 at Royal Range is near full. (Remember it is always sunny and 70 degrees with little humidity on their indoor range!)
If you are ready to travel again, don’t wait to enroll in your chosen Gunsite class. Many folks simply moved their classes to another date and others are jumping in daily. If you wait too long, the date and class you wanted may be full.
If you are not ready to travel too far yet, look to our off-site courses. We have classes available in Nashville TN at Royal Range, in Lebanon IN at the Lebanon Police Range, outside of Anchorage AK, Panteao Sportsman’s Club in South Carolina and in Colorado. You may be able to stay at home and still get the Gunsite epiphany. Look to the Gunsite.com web page for details.
Lots of malcontent going on in our world today. Gunsite family should remember that our founder appreciated polite, educated adult conversation. However, Jeff did not suffer fools well. Keep your conversations with those with differing opinions about guns, masks, police, etc. polite and professional. Offer facts and not conjecture. Many of the folks we disagree with just cannot handle adult discussion like this and resort to name-calling and misinformation. We need not stoop to their level.
You may have missed our Mother’s Day sale in the Pro Shop, do not miss it for Father’s Day! Lots of fun items are on sale that Dad will love! Better yet, contact Rikki@gunsite.com and get that gift certificate for a class!
The topic of summer camp for kids was on the local news this morning. Remember that Gunsite offers great Youth Classes: 250 Pistol, 350 Pistol, (For the First Time) 499 Pistol and 270 Rifle. The class is all youth (age12-16), receiving the same training you did in your class. The difference is they are all peers. (Well, and they don’t groan like we do recovering from kneeling and prone and have young eyes!) The tuition is greatly reduced for them. We also offer some good courses opposite them for you to attend (i.e. Pocket Pistol, Edged Weapons, etc.) What better way to teach your Young American about responsibility?
If you are social media inclined, you can follow us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. for discussions, political commentary, and updates on Gunsite. (The web page is strictly business.) We encourage you to share our posts with your followers.
That is it for this month. Time to head down-range and post some Facebook Live time!
DVC,
Ken
