Steve Temerlin MD has been practicing Emergency Medicine for over 40 years. He worked in the civilian community for 10 years before joining the US Navy. During his 22 year Naval career he earned Flight Surgeon Wings as well as Diving Medical Officer and US Navy Diver certifications. He served as the Senior Medical Officer for the Marine response force for chemical, biological, and radiological terrorism. He deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan six times with Marines and Special Forces, earning Marine Combat Air Crew Wings, the Bronze Star with Combat V, and two Air Medals. He retired from the Navy in 2012 and continues to practice medicine in Texas. Since 2005 he has taught a variety of medical courses along with pistol and carbine.
