Paul Kultala has been an adjunct instructor at Gunsite since 1996 and teaches pistol, rifle, carbine, shotgun and tactical medicine. Paul retired from the Chandler (AZ) Police Department January 2018. He had assignments on the bike team, firearms training unit, as a field training officer, a school resource officer and a patrol officer. He also served on the SWAT team as a sniper and tactical operator. Prior to hiring with Chandler PD, he served 20 years in the USAF as a Pararescueman conducting conventional rescue and special operations missions.
