Adam Collins has been a police officer in central Texas since 2012. He’s been stationed in the city’s busy downtown entertainment and business district since 2016, both in patrol capacity and plain-clothes operations. Adam works on various violent crime suppression initiatives, primarily targeting gun violence. Before his career in law enforcement, Adam served in the Army which included several combat tours during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Adam’s interest in instructing began early when he was coaching youth sports, and it became a passion while in the Army in 2002 when his unit instructed members of the Royal Saudi Air Defense Force police in defensive tactics
