SHIPPING FIREARMS/AMMO TO GUNSITE:
Firearms and/or ammunition may be shipped directly to Gunsite Academy no earlier than 30 days before the start date of your class. We will store them for you unopened until your class. On the first day of class your instructors will call you as a group to pick up any shipped in packages.
All packages containing firearms or ammunition must be labeled as follows:
Improperly labeled packages may be refused or opened for inspection and storage by Gunsite staff. In such cases, firearms must be returned to the Pro Shop daily after class and picked up each morning.

***NOTE*** FedEx and UPS now require that firearms be shipped exclusively between licensed FFL Dealers. Therefore, you must arrange for your local FFL Dealer to ship your firearm to Gunsite Academy’s designated FFL.
It is best if you box up your personal firearm yourself and label the box accordingly (see above). Be sure to tell them it is NOT a transfer of ownership and to NOT log the firearm into or out of their A&D books. It is important that your local gun store act only as the shipper to ship your personal firearm.
When the gun arrives here, we will store it for you (unopened) until the first day of your class. Upon completion of your class, your firearm will be repackaged by you and shipped back in care of the original FFL Dealer.
