Edged Weapons Training
This two day class provides the essential fundamentals of self-protection using an edged weapon. Regardless of size, strength, age or gender you can learn to defend yourself with any type of edged weapon using the concepts you will learn in this class.
You will start off by learning the basic stance, footwork, balance and body mechanics that set the foundation. You will then transition into the highly effective and practical techniques for using an edged weapon while defending against a variety of attacks including empty hands, knives, sticks and firearms
Additional topics covered will be what to look for in selecting a knife, the various carry methods and the pro’s and con’s of each.
This class has a physical difficulty level of moderate. Students should be capable of spending the day doing footwork drills, striking and holding a strike bag.
I’m a retired Navy diver and this is the 6th class I’ve taken here. It’s always good to refresh & retrain and this is the best and only place to do that.
