Day Zero “Carbine”
***The regular cost is $395.00, but if registered for the 223 Carbine Class the next day, the cost drops to only $225.00!***
“Day Zero” is a new course offered for the novice or new gun owner and the prospective 223 students the day before the 223 Carbine Class begins who lack the knowledge or experience in gun handling and marksmanship.
It is designed for the novice or new gun owner who lacks knowledge or experience in gun handling and marksmanship regarding the AR platform. If it’s been a while since you have had your carbine out this would make a great refresher.
We have found our first training day in the 223 Carbine Class goes by very quickly and may be overwhelming to the new gun owner. So, we took the 223 Monday morning class and turned it into a separate full day on Sunday, the day before, so you’re fully prepared for the next morning.
The first half of the day is in the classroom talking about different types of carbines, safety with the carbine, accessories, optics, manipulations, and many more subjects. After the classroom portion students will go down range and learn to zero their optics and iron sights in a slower paced setting. The lectures will continue in conjunction with live-fire exercises by our experienced instructors.
Many have never experienced a line of shooters firing simultaneously. This does so in a more intimate way for you to experience it. We start out very slow and methodical, so all have an understating of the skills, capability of the carbine, and themselves. This is not a high round count nor intense day. It is intentionally slower paced so the new or rusty shooter can build some knowledge and confidence in themselves and their new firearm in a training environment.
