The New Year is upon us! Time to sing Auld Lang Syne and ring in the new year. Hard to believe it is the next decade. Wasn’t it just a year or two ago that we were worried about the millennium?
Have you set reasonable resolutions for 2020? Not lose weight or something else we probably won’t follow through on. How about getting that training you keep telling yourself you will do?
The church shooting this weekend is a prime example. You saved and purchased that pistol, good holster, magazine pouch and belt and carry it. But have you received proper training and on-going practice? The savior in the church appears to have made a 12-yard head shot on a moving target, stopping the murders. Are you trained and prepared to do that on demand? Time to enroll in that Gunsite course.
If you enroll prior to January 1, 2020 you will receive the 2019 tuition prices. (Prices didn’t go up a great deal, but it still saves you money!) Get online and get that application sent prior to 11:59 PM on December 31! Don’t follow liberal tendencies, practice fiscal prudency.
We jump right in for 2020 with a Pistol Range Day on January 11, a 250 Pistol Class on January 13, the Nashville 150 Pistol Class on January 17 and a 223 Carbine Class on December 27. And SHOT Show is January 21-24! Whew . . .
Look for Buz, Ken, Dave and Susan as SHOT. Find us and we are apt to have Gunsite SWAG in our pocket. We enjoy seeing family wearing their Gunsite shirts and hats as they walk about the miles of aisles at SHOT. Remember to bring your hand sanitizer and never touch the rails on the escalators! Take some medicinal alcohol in the evening as well.
That’s it for now, more later January.
DVC,
Ken
