Another Double 250 Pistol Class is underway this week at Gunsite. I tell the students, “I can’t sit in my office and listen to gunfire on the ranges without coming to visit.” And what a pleasure it is to have so many good people, recognizing their unalienable right to defend themselves and their loved ones, and seeking great training. Seeing the smiles on their faces, watching their improvement from day-to-day, helps us remember the grand work Gunsite has been doing the last forty one (41) years.
If you have been considering taking a Gunsite class (or returning for a refresher or new class), or a friend/family member has been considering coming to Gunsite, now is the time. Ammunition and firearms are readily available and no longer at the “fear-level” pricing. If you can’t make the trip to Gunsite in Arizona, consider the off-site courses (250 Pistol) at Colonial Shooting Academy in Richmond Virginia or at Thunderbird in Wichita, Kansas. There are also three (3) day opportunities with Carbine and Pistol at the Firearms Academy of Seattle, in the Nashville TN area, in Central IN and we have just posted courses at Great Guns near Nunn Colorado.

We continue to do more and more on social media (Facebook, Yelp, Trip Advisor, Twitter, Instagram). If you don’t know what these are, find a young person, teach them about the responsibilities of shooting, and learn about social media from them. More and more of our information is shared in these formats. Don’t miss out on a new class or updates because you don’t follow us.
Classes are filling quickly this year, many being doubled to accommodate the clients. If there are specific dates you are looking for, don’t wait to enroll. It can all be done on the website now, including credit card payments. If you are considering the Gunsite Alumni Shoot (GAS Match), it also is filling. Don’t miss out on “A social engagement slightly interrupted by gunfire” the first Saturday of October. The class is preceded by a 350 (Full) and 250 Pistol courses (openings still available). Following GAS is an Automatic Weapons Course (You NEED NOT own an automatic weapon for this smorgasbord of guns), Defensive 3 Gun (Pistol, Carbine and Shotgun introduction or refresher) and Ballistic Response to Violent Encounters (BRAVE). Early October is some of the finest weather in the high desert of northern Arizona.
