The Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is the most common airport used by students of Gunsite. You can expect a 2-hour drive from Phoenix to Gunsite.

The Flagstaff Pulliam Airport – PLG can also be used, though flight schedules are less frequent. The drive time to Gunsite will be just over an hour.

The Prescott Regional Airport – LOVE field now has flights coming into Prescott on United Airlines travelling through Denver or LA. Approx. 25 minutes away from Gunsite.

Driving to Gunsite Academy

We are located off of Hwy. 89, north of Prescott and Chino Valley, just south of Paulden, at mile marker 335 and Rolling Hills Road. Turn west on Rolling Hills Road and follow the signs to Gunsite. We are located about 3 miles from Hwy. 89.

REMEMBER: Most GPS systems and map programs (for example, Mapquest) will not give you reliable directions to Gunsite.

From the Phoenix AZ Airport:

1. Get on I-10 West from E Sky Harbor Blvd. heading towards downtown.
2. Take I-17 North towards Flagstaff – 68 miles.
3. Exit on SR 69  – exit number 262 – heading west for Prescott.
4. From SR69 you will take a right onto Fain Rd (between mile post marker 283 and 284) heading North – 20 miles.
5. Fain Rd will turn into Highway 89 heading West toward Prescott/Chino Valley – 7 miles.
6. Turn right on Highway 89N – toward Ash Fork – after 6 miles on exit 317.
7. Stay on 89N through the traffic circles for about 15 miles.
8. Turn west onto Rolling Hills Road  between mile markers 335 and 336.  Go right on Grandview and left on Gunsite Road.
9. Follow the signs to Gunsite. Gunsite is located about 3 miles from Hwy. 89.

From the Prescott AZ Airport:

1. Turn right on Highway 89N – toward Ash Fork.
2. Stay on 89N through the traffic circles for about 15 miles.
3. Turn west onto Rolling Hills Road  between mile markers 335 and 336. Go right on Grandview and left on Gunsite Road.
4. Follow the signs to Gunsite. Gunsite is located about 3 miles from Hwy. 89.

From Flagstaff AZ:

1. From Flagstaff, head west on I-40 to Exit 146 – about 50 miles
2. Turn south on 89S towards Ash Fork/Prescott – about 27 miles
3. Turn west onto Rolling Hills Road  between mile markers 335 and 336.
4. Follow the signs to Gunsite. Gunsite is located about 3 miles from Hwy. 89.
