Safari Prep – Suppressed
This is a three-day course developed to best prepare you for safari. In attendance will be Richard Mann, the current shooting editor for Field & Stream, who since 2006 has logged more than a year’s worth of safari time in Africa. Working with the Gunsite Academy instructors who are all safari veterans themselves, Mr. Mann will be in attendance to contribute his safari experience to each lesson and be available to discuss safari specifics.
The course will incorporate suppressors. Training will include proper zeroing, sling management, unsupported shooting, shooting from sticks, interaction with a professional hunter and shot preparation and follow through. Additional information will be provided on how suppressors work, how they’re purchased, and how they’re legally transported to Africa.
NOTE: This course will also be attended by several outdoor writers preparing for their first African safari as well as several manufacturer representatives.
