Champion Defense Shooting Complex

The Champion Defense Shooting Complex is a private organization located in Swansea on more than 75 acres just 20 minutes from Columbia, SC.  There is a pro-shop at the facility where you can pick up targets, ammunition and other accessories.

Members of the shooting complex have access to an outdoor gun range with a 600-yard rifle bay with targets at 100 yard intervals, five 25-yard handgun bays, and a 50-yard 360-degree all-purpose bay. There are steel targets on the rifle bay, 360-bay and specific handgun bays.

There is a pro-shop at the facility where you can pick up targets, ammunition and other shooting accessories.

I-95 South:

  • At exit 97, turn Right onto ramp
  • Take US-301 to I-26
  • Turn Right onto ramp onto I-26
  • At exit 125, turn Right onto ramp
  • Turn Left (West) onto SC-31 (Old Sandy Run Road)
  • Turn Left onto Pine Plain Road.
  • Range is 1.7 miles on the right.
  • I-95 North:
    • At exit 86B, take ramp Right onto I-26
    • At exit 125, turn Right onto ramp
    • Turn Left (West) onto SC-31 (Old Sandy Run Road)
    • Turn Left onto Pine Plain Road.
    • Range is 1.7 miles on the rig
