And the Attacks Resume!
The New Year rings in with the renewed, strengthened attacks on our unalienable rights. No surprise to those of us who support our Constitution and way of life.
What have you done to support the Bill of Rights?
Sitting at your keyboard typing away on social media is just a beginning and not enough.
Take time to write/contact your Senators and Congressional Representatives at the Federal level. While we hold the Senate, they need to know we expect them to stand strong. Let them know you watch their voting record and will vote accordingly.
Join the organizations that fight for our rights such as the National Rifle Association, Second Amendment Foundation and others. They are in the daily fight, lobbying for us in the halls of Congress.
Make sure you reach out to your State and Local elected officials as well. Contact your Governor, State Senators, Congressmen, County Commissioners/Supervisors and Sheriff. They must understand they should be supporting the Federal and State Constitution and you are looking at their record.
Now, what do you have planned for yourself for 2019 to stay strong in your self-defense training? Our skills are perishable. (I just returned from a two (2) day course in the Phoenix area with a few other Gunsite Instructors. Even though we work at a range, it is always good to get others critiquing your shooting!)
Look to our popular Range Days in Pistol, Carbine and Shotgun for the quick tune-up. We even have two (2) day Range Days now!
Gunsite has added a new Lever Rifle/SA Revolver Course for 2019. Many may not realize how viable the lever gun is for protecting yourself and your family.
The new School Staff Response to Active Shooter is on the schedule in August. If you are in that position, do you know what to do? Can you deliver on demand?
The 223 Carbine and 250 Pistol and 350 Courses continue to fill. (Some have already “doubled” in that we filled one and needed to add a second.) GAS is filling at a record rate. Have you enrolled yet?
If you have thought “I need to get the training,” it is time to act. Ammunition and firearm prices are very competitive for the time being. We don’t know what the future holds as to those prices with the House of Representatives filing anti-Second Amendment bills regularly.
Look to the Gunsite calendar or webpage and get enrolled in the class you want and need before it is too late.
And finally, contact your elected officials!
DVC,
Ken
